Update from the 2022 ‘caretaker’ board of directors.
A Special General Meeting of the Langham Court Theatre Society was held on September 28, 2022, to elect members to the Board of Directors.
All nominees had an opportunity to speak or have their nominee speak on their behalf and all shared a love of the Langham Court Theatre community and a commitment to an inclusive, diverse, and safe space in which to create theatre.
Some positions on the Board will be up for election again at the 2022 Annual General Meeting, taking place before the end of the year, and some have been elected to serve until AGM 2023. The current “caretaker” Board members are:

The “Caretaker” Board will work to increase the sense of inclusivity and welcome for all potential members/volunteers, and to advance volunteer opportunities for all, informed by the ongoing equity and diversity work.
Thank you to the previous Board for their passion and commitment, and for their cooperation with a smooth transition.
With the transition complete today, Monday Oct 3, the Board’s priorities are to conduct a thorough assessment of the theatre’s operations and finances, return the theatre to operating status, and establish committees for finance, communications, and operations.
