Please join us for a special performance proudly presented by the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts and sponsored by Langham Court Theatre.  Featuring the academy’s top acting students, this one-time performance of the play, EVERYBODY, is an event that you won’t want to miss.

Written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and based on the fifteenth century play, Everyman. This riveting play was produced by the Shaw Festival in 2022 for its Canadian premiere and was a finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

According to Shaw, it has a simple plot: “Death comes to Everybody. Time is up. “Can I,” asks Everybody, “bring someone to keep me company?” Sure, if anyone will come.  So then, the question is, who will stay with Everybody to the end?  Beauty?  Family?  Stuff?  Be ready to laugh and weep at this remarkable, heartfelt updating.”
