Open Auditions for The Lost Boy
Langham Court Theatre Society is an inclusive environment, and we encourage everyone to come out and audition.

Performance Dates: November 15 to December 3, 2023. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons.
Location: Langham Court Theatre located at 805 Langham Court. Please enter by the stage door located on the south side of the building at the parking lot level.
Audition Dates and Times
- Tuesday, August 29 – 6:30 to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 30 – 6:30 to 9 pm
- Callbacks, as needed, September 2 and 3, 1 – 4 pm
No preparation is necessary for the audition as you will be participating in a cold read. Please bring a head shot with you. If you don’t have one, we will ask your permission to take a picture of you to attach to your audition form. Audition forms will be available to fill out at auditions.
The Story: Haunted by a tragic accident and his mother’s harsh words, James (J.M. Barrie) slowly begins to confront his family’s tragic past with the help of an unexpected friendship and his own gift for storytelling. This is a fictionalized account of the birth of Peter Pan.
ROLES
- James M Barrie – male – able to play different ages 6 to mid 40s
- Margaret Barrie (James’ Mother) – female, from 30s to 60s
- Davey Barrie / Peter Pan – male, able to play 13-year-old boy
- Sean O’Rourke – male, late 30s to mid 40s (may be doubled)
- Maureen O’Rourke – female, late 30s to mid 40s
- Mary Barrie (James’ wife) – female
- Ned – male, 20s to 30s (may be doubled)
- Liza – female, 20s to 30s (may be doubled)
- Old Crow / Captain Hook – male, any age
- Hanna Bell/Tinker Bell – female, small
- Chorus of 3 to 5 actors – male and female, to play several different roles
Langham Court Theatre is a community theatre powered by volunteers and all actors and crew are unpaid. If you are selected for the cast, you must become a member of the Langham Court Theatre Society. The Society has ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying, racism, harassment, and other behaviours that cause harm to members of our community. If selected, you will be required to adhere to our Code of Conduct.
