The Costume Loft will be closed from July 10th – 20th. If you are in need of a costume during this time please stop by during the first week of July. Rental returns during this period can be delayed until we reopen on Wednesday, July 24th.

Sorry to announce that the 2024’s Costume Loft Sale has been POSTPONED until next year. A number of factors played into making this tough decision. The most important is that our building is under going a couple of interior and exterior work projects making available space for hosting a sale problematic. But rest assure the Costume Loft Sale will be back in 2025.

We are a friendly and affordable COSTUME RENTAL Loft located around the back of Langham Court Theatre. Specializing in unique pieces you can’t find anywhere else. Our talented team can help you navigate over 10,000 costume pieces and help you create the costume of your dreams! Whether it be a theme party or wedding, prom, Halloween, corporate events, film & television, or stage productions, we can work in any budget and time frame. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive

Discover the best kept secret in Victoria. We are in the back of the theatre up the stairs. Follow the sidewalk on the left side of the building ( if you are facing the theatre) to the very back and up the stairs. Rentals are for 2 week periods. You do not need to make an appointment to return costumes or to drop off donations.

NOTE: We will only respond to messages during loft hours.
Note: Our rental fees do not include cleaning. Unless otherwise indicated by staff, cleaning is required for all rented costumes. A credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is required to secure each rental.
LATE CHARGES ARE THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE RENTAL COST AND WILL BE ADDED TO THE CREDIT CARD EVERY WEEK UNTIL RETURNED.
Donations
Donations are accepted at anytime during loft hours. We are currently welcoming donations of clothing – vintage (pre-2000) or select contemporary items deemed useful for Langham’s collection, costumes, accessories and jewelry. Examples – clothing for women and men (vintage, historical, ‘labels’), furs, hats, bags, shoes, stage clothing. Clothing items must be clean, with no musty or moth ball odour. Clothing that is not useful for the Costume Loft is sold in our annual sale, with proceeds going to Langham Court Theatre.

The entrance to the Costume Loft is around the left side of the building to the very back, past the lounge doors, and up a flight of stairs. There is another stairway inside the Loft. For accessibility questions please email us.

- Please note: PARKING LOT IS NOT AVAILABLE for Loft parking on Saturdays after 12:00 pm when Langham Court shows are running. Please use non-residential street parking
