The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley – Tickets on Sale Now
November 13 – December 1
Written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon
Directed by Janine Long
Our tip of the hat to Jane Austen novels and companion piece to the delightful Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley. As the story unfolds upstairs at Pemberley, the servants downstairs find themselves in the midst of a holiday scandal. An unwelcome visitor has stumbled into the hall in the middle of the night – Mr. Darcy’s nemesis and Lydia’s incorrigible husband, Mr. Wickham. This story delves into class, privilege, family, and forgiveness.
UPDATE: It is with deep regret that we must announce that our November 20 show will not have an ASL Interpreter present. The Island Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre have worked hard to find us an interpreter but the challenge is the pool of Registered interpreters is so small here in Victoria, and the demand is huge that they are all working nonstop. We will continue to work with the Centre to see if we might be able to bring in an interpreter for future show.
